Update broke my game (mac).

Im playing on a mac (09/26/24). (Macbook pro 2020 M1 chip). My game is completely unplayable after I updated it. I waited to load up the game for at least 30 minutes, before it was able to load. It loaded up normal, but when it finally got to the "home" page it was broken and I couldn't click any of the options. The only way out was to force quit the game. I did this again, waited another however many minutes, and it did the same thing. Decided to "repair" my game through the EA app. It loaded up in seconds, so I though it had fixed the problem, but no, I was back to the broken "home" page. Restarted my computer, deleted any mods/cc that I thought were corrupted, came back, and the same thing happened. I don't know how to fix it, and I haven't seen any screenshots that other people have that match the one my game was giving me.
