Weird NPC Situation Goopy / Goopella GilScarbo invasion!

So I use mods, but I don't know which one would cause this. I've also never seen this issue with any other player, and while it doesn't disturb my gameplay at all it is so weird.

Generated townies will often show up as normal with random, nonsensical names. However, the vast majority of them are Goopy (M) and Goopella Gilscarbo. I tried to look up the issue, and it turns out the name belongs to a Sims 2 character who, I guess, became something of a meme. But that doesn't explain why my game is defaulting to that name for most NPCs who aren't tied directly to a premade household.

There's no way for me to turn off auto-generated sims to test whether this is related to an in-game issue or if it's pulling from the gallery, which I know the game can sort of do with the Mc Command Center.

I plan at some point to do the 50/50 method, but I've been so busy with school I haven't had the energy to do that, and I figured I'd ask and see if anyone else knew about this happening to them. It just seems like nobody else has reported an issue like this.
