UDPATE: I now can't even play with my household :/ I tried putting the household and the house onto the gallery, starting a new save then putting the household into CAS and moving onto an empty lot then importing the house from the gallery onto the lot and everything works fine so it seems to be a problem with the save, is there anyone that can look at my save and try to find the issue? I want to avoid starting over if possible because on the new save all my sims relationships, past family members etc are gone and this is the family that I have been playing for years

UPDATE: I think I've managed to fix it, what I did was
- went to manage worlds > manage household > transfer sims between households then put them into an already existing household (doing this meant the furniture on the existing lot got sold)
- loaded up the new, merged household and got rid of any plates in the sims inventory
- went back to manage worlds and put the sims back into their own household
- moved them back into the old lot (minus the furniture!)
- bulldozed the lot and terrain
- imported the house from the gallery back onto the lot and cleaned up any plates
and now everything works fine, to fix the vet clinic I bought I did the following, I think the vet clinic got sold and furniture from it removed when I moved the household into another so I repurchased the vet clinic using the adult sim in the household and bought the lot unfurnished which seems to have fixed the issue but time will tell I guess!
I'm not too sure what the issue was exactly because the vet clinic was a fresh, empty lot and I got this error so I don't think it's to do with the plates but there was no furniture on the lot so don't think it was anything to do with the furniture either
I also used a mod that added a command to my game to sell my household inventory and did that which may have helped, but can't remember when I did that
This solution worked perfectly. Luckily I have the Better Exceptions Mod so I had an idea that it was a Lobster Roll that was causing this issue but I didn't know how to get to their inventory because I would get an error message trying to load their house. Your instructions worked perfectly (sure enough there was a half eaten lobster roll in the household inventory)! Thank you so much, you saved my game!.
You are an absolute god sent and I don't know what I would be able to do without you. Thank you thank you thank you. Everyone in he forms and stuff have been absolutely useless. Discords useless, 50/50 useless. This is the thing that saved my entire save!!! 😭😭😭
