I tend to prefer cc most of the time except for mods that improve gameplay. Of those, I tend to like mods that make decorative items functional, add new harvestables and recipes, career mods, event mods, new traits and aspirations. Those are less likely to conflict with each other. I have tried out user interface mods and script mods but those break the game if not carefully maintained and updated. And with anything that would cause conflict chaos like CAS backgrounds or loading screens or overrides, I tend to avoid those, and I never use auto installers like Curseforge or TSR CC manager for overrides or UI mods.
