WHERE is the Object Fishbowl Gummy Spooky!?

someone please help! I've looked for answers everywhere, i found info on here but the thread was closed and said if there were still questions to open a new topic. so here i am. ive posted to multip...

    @AKAmavrick It sounds like you think you're removing mods that you aren't, and that message about MCCC installation suggests you have mod installation issues as well.

    Let's start you with a fresh Mods folder.

    1. Drag the Mods folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 to your desktop (or rename it, or both if you think it will help you keep it clear that this is the old one the game won't see now).
    2. Delete the file called localthumbcache
    3. Start the game. Start a new test save. Confirm that you have no messages about MCCC and that you have no CC there.

    If that didn't work -- if it still says you have an MCCC installation problem, then you have a problem about where you're trying to do things with mods.

    If that did work, please redownload a fresh copy of MCCC and install it. You can copy your old MCCC cfg file (your settings) over too. Then start the game to make sure you don't get an error message.

    After that, we'll know if you've got a working Mods folder set-up and you can start adding your CC and mods back, checking for issues as you go.

This seems to of worked - for now!!

I did the following if what you had said, but prior to your response I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it on a different drive, im so unsure of how this weird bug even happened!!! But I hope it doesn't happen again!

I'm slightly afraid to read any of my mods back to the game, even though my mods are mostly hair styles and items for horse Stables 😂

I appreciate your response so much though! Hopefully the rest goes smoothly and I will be re adding some mods slowly as you suggested, I will be purging a lot of my mods, maybe playing vanilla Sims isn't such a horrible thing haha

    @AKAmavrick I started over from scratch with mine about a year ago. I have a lot less CC so far!
