White lines on cc hair while in live mode...

Im having an issue with a cc hair in game, along with some other hairs but ill use this one as an example. In cas and close up in game the hair looks great, but as soon as i zoom out theres a bunch of white lines running through the hair. Im not sure if this is an issue with the hair mesh itself and it will look like this on everyones game, or if its an issue on my end.

Maybe someone who has this hair already could let me know if it looks the same for you, or if someone could test it out in their game that would be super helpful. This is "Raine" Hair by leahlillith on the simsresource

Heres what it looks like in game:

  • Hi! If it's Maxis Match hair you could try running the Sims 4 Studio batch fix and see if that helps. You will need to register to download Sims 4 Studio but, membership is free. Once you have installed and opened the program choose "Content Management" at the top of the page, then "Batch Fixes", "CAS", "Fix Cats & Dogs Patch Glass Hair", and "run"

For Alpha hair, turn off Laptop mode and lower your graphics settings.

Sorry, I can't tell which you are using.

That hair is done with the HQ mod, which can cause lag to your game if your computer isn't the best to run the game

but even other hairs that are not done with HQ mod do this as well. my game does not lag, my laptop isnt the BEST out there but it meets all the requirements and id say id have a decent enough graphics card

i have done that, i think i have tried almost every single thing i can, laptop mode isnt turned on, put settings on ultra, graphics card is good (id say atleast.) etc. even tried putting just one hair in a vanilla game and no change.

If this is a graphics issue of somesort, i dont understand how many people download the hairs and have no issues even with lower settings than i do?

+ yes its an alpha hair
  • I don't think you can use ultra graphics with Alpha hair. Try low or medium-low and see if you still have the issue.
