- xXMayaKXx2 years agoRising Novice@crinrict im playing on PC
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@xXMayaKXx What security software are you using and how much disc space do you have left ?
- xXMayaKXx2 years agoRising Novice@crinrict I think I'm using Norton. I have 51.9 space left
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@xXMayaKXx That's not plenty of space but shouldn't cause error 22. Could be Norton blocking your user folder. I'm not familiar with norton but check if it blocked Sims.
- xXMayaKXx2 years agoRising Novice@crinrict Well my Norton subscription is expired but it didn't effect my sims game before the update so probably not that. Do you know any other way the error 22 could be happening?
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@xXMayaKXx Error 22 is usually a permission or space error but there could be other reasons.
Do you also have a lastException ? - xXMayaKXx2 years agoRising Novice@crinrict Yes I do
@xXMayaKXx Please upload the lastexception here. You can copy and paste the text into a reply (please use a spoiler tag) or attach a .rar file.
Please also let us know whether you can start a new save, and if so, whether you can load it again after restarting your computer. The question is basically whether the game can properly write to the Sims 4 folder at all, and this is a helpful test.

Um so I launched the game, and I didn't see the white sim in the main menu. And I resumed the save and it was fine. That was with no mods/cc.
Then I put the mods/cc back in, and I saw no white sim, and the save was fine when I loaded it. So, I guess its fixed? Sorry if I wasted your time. :/
