Why can't I click my sim when it's supposed to be clickable?

I can't click my sim in Sims 4. I use Origin to play/open the game on my laptop. I thought the problem would be fixed since I experienced it last month and opened it again now (11/22/22). I still have not done anything to fix it cause I'm scared my data would be lost but I did try to repair the game a couple of times back then, and now too before I post this question. My sim has a fussy stomach and I can't do anything to help her ☹️(

    The problem is, I can't click my sim. I mean I click it, nothing is showing up there was supposed to be like activity that she can do, like the attached photo (photo not mine), but nothing like that is showing.

    @md_patty Do you use mods? These can break anytime the game is updated, so if you do, it's possible an outdated mod is causing this issue.
