Why do my sims walk around and not obey my commands?

I have been playing the sims 4 for a very long time and only recently have encountered this problem. I've looked at other forums, tried to fix the issue, but it never ends up working. My Sims just walk to different random places, and then to other different random places, and wont obey any commands. It only began when I installed Lumpinou's 'woohoo wellness' mod, the first thing I tried was to uninstall it completely and to see if that would fix the issue, it did not. I've tried going on origin and repairing the game itself, without all of my mods the problem didnt seem to occur, but when i added the rest of my previously installed mods the problem started again. The problem never happened before I installed 'woohoo wellness' so it's confusing to me why its occurring now, especially because the mods I  installed before 'woohoo wellness' didnt establish the problem beforehand. I'm really lost and I dont know what to do, my next solution is to reinstall all of my old mods and cc, but I really dont want it to come to that.

Make sure you delete the localthumbcache.package file every single time you either add or remove mods.

  • @khitteh When I search it up in my 'sims 4' folder I see it, but cant find it in any of the other folders inside, and I cant seem to delete it without seeing the thingy itself.

Delete it, game will remake it (and remake it even better, with info from your updated mods).

You must have file extensions set to off, which is why you don't see the extension - .package (this can be fixed if you want to change that setting).

Change settings as below if you want to show your file extensions -

    1. Open File Explorer (open any folder).
    2. Click the View tab.
    3. Select "File name extensions."
    4. Optionally, you can enable Hidden items.
    5. File extensions will now be visible.
