World Sims Have Disappeared

I use mods, (MCCC included) so I have a larger than normal household. This has not caused a problem with the existence of world sims until this game. I get calls & text messdagesd but no one ever shows up anywhere, not the mailman, not the nanny or gardener. Any suggestions?
