Ive cleared the cache, repaired the game in the EA app, removed all my mods, and yet i still cannot get past the select world page without it crashing. The only way i can get it to work is if the mods are turned off completely in game. This game is almost unplayable after every update, and as someone with thousands of hours of gameplay its very frustrating. please stop releasing these unfinished updates if all they do is break the game.

It sounds as though you may not have removed all of the mods. If the issue is correcting itself when you turn all mods off, it sounds like it may be down to a mod you still have in your game.
moving this to the mods forum as you said it does load with mods/cc disabled
