Right. I got the reason why selectable pets doesn't work for me and that is from downloading a mod after reading the changelog but forgetting since I haven't updated for long. If you use sim control hub mod you won't need selectable pets anymore as the mod does the same thing. You just need to enable it in the setting so those mods will conflict with any selectable pets mod. So the mods are not broken it's my stupid self forgetting the changelog of a mod I downloaded but couldn't put in my mods folder because of not being able to update. XD
