Calendar Events

I have been trying to have a wedding event for my sims on a Friday or Saturday for a long time now and I can never do so because there is an unremovable high school event literally every day. Prom is every weekend even though my sims have been to prom TWICE now. I tried it for a Friday and they still couldn’t because there’s exams every single Friday. Are you just not allowed to get married or anything if you have teen sims??? I’m considering have them flunk out honestly because there seems to be no real end to high school and it’s getting in the way of my other gameplay. I’m on console and of course have no mods.
