Can't get into the sims 4 on console
Hi, I'm having an issue where I can't get into the sims to play. I can start the application from my PS4 home screen but when it loads to the point where it says "Press X to start" my X button doe...

@simsplayer818 Hi, this is such a peculiar bug and you're right it could be a number of things causing it (or my sims game went "you're playing this game waaay too much" and cut me off lol)
I read today that there's supposed to be a sims 4 update dropping on October 22, I might wait for that and see if my issue continues and if it does I'll make sure to follow your steps and put in a bug report. I've screenshot your reply so I don't forget what to do 🙂
I'm also experienced endless loading on my save with the off the grid lot trait, but I understand that's a known issue and I've popped a me too on that thread. I'm sure by process of elimination we'll get to the bottom of my issue.

@RheaFallout Yes that's a good point an update might make a difference, especially if it's something that is potentially caused by the Reaper Event. I actually saw another PS player recently with all kinds of strange things happening to their game but it was all resolved with a patch.

- @simsplayer818 Good news! I can get into my game again! The new update seems to have fixed my X button problem. I got through week four and five of the reaper rewards and everything in my game all seems to be running fine. Hopefully I'll have no trouble next time I load it up.

But I do have a suggestion, something I'm trying myself. When playing the Reaper Event and also when the event is due to start (so for me that's 5pm Tuesdays UK time) I'm going to try avoiding any lot challenge traits but also calender events at the same time. Or any kind of event. I'm doing that because I'm sure there's a conflict there somewhere. I did that last night and my Reaper Event ran more smoothly and it didn't bug out my console.- @simsplayer818 Thats a good idea I will definitely do that!
Did you only remove lot challenges/ calendar events on the save you are currently playing the reaper event on or all of your saves with lot challenges?
