Can't Use DLC from Separate Discs
For Christmas, my friend bought me a base game of Sims 4 with the island living expansion. However, I already had the base game and city living expansion. When I go on the base game disc version that comes with island living, I can’t see the city living expansion which I have already bought on the PS store. Is there a way I can consolidate or?
For reference, I bought the base game way before Christmas through the PS store and the same with the city living packing through the same method. My friend bought me the sims 4 base game and island living bundle on disc.

If you have 2 disk versions of the base game each with a different expansion (Island living or City living) you will never be able to access both expansions together.
If order to be able to have both, you would need to download the version you want to add and always use that same disk when playing.
For example, you can insert your City living disk. Once loaded on the load screen you can purchase and download the Island Expansion.
You will now how BOTH expansions available when playing with your CITY LIVING disk.
If you were to insert your Island Living disk - that is all you would see.
Unfortunately, your friend should have just gifted you a Gift card to buy the online version of the games - because you cannot use them together now.
