I'm a long time simmer, and I've been playing sims since it came out on console (Playstation4 player here). this new update has completely ruined build mode for me to the point where, as a player who solely focuses on building rather than live mode, legit can no longer build a single thing and I've had to drop the game since the new updates came out. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible because the strange combination of controls ALONG with how the menus are now placed out makes it impossible to not only enjoy, but even PLAY.
- For starters, I cannot change my tile placement without also pressing undo seeing as now its on the same button, also it automatically opens up the search bar now too. so if I want to change my tile placement (EG. ill try to change to free placement whilst the object I want to move is selected and I'll end up undoing 2 times and having to press back every time to get off the search bar)
- the selection menu is now always open, which is DEEPLY annoying when trying to place items and select colour options, and you can no longer scroll through the items as its now just like your controlling a mouse. it feels like this update was made ONLY considering PC / Mac players and its deeply frustrating and disappointing.
- My game keeps crashing the moment I go to do something on live mode, and I have even had an incident occur recently where I will try to put my sims to bed but one of them ends up moving to the same side as the other sim and obviously cannot get into bed for that reason, no matter how many times I move them over to the other side of the bed and click on THAT side specifically.
