I saw that you could apparently now do this in the patch update and on the discussions things since it gives you steps to do it. its not working, there's nothing that comes up so I assume we haven't...

Yeah I accidentally saved over my legacy save and I always knew that would happen one day. The sims help page says to go into load game then recover save but that doesn’t exist for me. Really hoping to get my save back but unfortunately I think the sims just sorta neglects console players 😭
