Create a Sim freezing

OK, so the problem I’m having is when I’m in Create a Sim what seems to be randomly, my game will I guess you could call it freeze except it’s not completely frozen like my sim is moving and sometimes I can. I can move my cursor from the different icons, but I cannot go into anything. I cannot use the buttons, this is not a controller issue. I tried it with multiple. I have no mods as I’m on Xbox, and I’m NOT using a game disc. Usually, leaving the game and going back in works, but it’s annoying to lose my progress halfway through.

(This also happens with the gallery sometimes)
