Detective Career: Crime Scene Issues

Whenever I arrive at a crime scene the 'Travel to Crime Scene' objective is never completed and I cannot interact with stolen objects or vandalism. I can't even speak to witnesses or return to the police station, so I am basically forced to reload the save file. According to other posts this has been an issue for months and it is still not fixed. 

It is kinda frustrating to spend money on a DLC that doesn't work properly.
