During work, loading screen, failed to load?

I don't understand this. As an autistic gamer who loves the Sim series, I just can't understand why this fourth title having so many bugs and glitches, causing me to go postal. I had Kara Kent go to work as a cop in the Detective career, about to return to station, loading... loading... loading... message screen says failed to load. Recommended that I quit the game, then reopen it. Not cool, EA! Not cool. Just because I tend to nit-pick on the issues doesn't mean that I hate the game. I just want the game to be stable, running, and without any issues.

    @CommishLawWonder Quick update. Had many issues with Lopaz is King original save file where it was in an infinite save loop. Had to delete, then create new file Lopaz TV, and today on the recently "New" file, it said "Failed to Load". I swear, this game really makes me wanna say something that is either a disallowed or forbidden word. But I'm not about to ruin my reputation for this and other monumental blunders EA committed over the almost six years of what we call The Sims 4. Smarter Sims. Yeah, right. More like Kelly Bundy as a Sim.

    @CommishLawWonder  Please power cycle your Console. Press and hold the XBox button on the front of your console until it turns off. Wait, at minimum. 10 seconds and then power your console back on again.

    There is supposed to be a patch today at 10 PST so hopefully some of these issues are addressed.
