Hello everyone.
I was wondering if anyone is experiencing is experiencing an autonomy problem where the character will no longer carry out actions. I have recently updated to Xbox S series console and since have been having problems with played character refusing to perform actions about 50% of the time. Have tried disabling autonomy for played character and have even disabled autonomy completely all to no avail. This issue is now ruining my enjoyment of the game. Most frequently presents when requiring bladder or hunger needs.. Frequently when requiring bathroom will refuse until uncontrolled bladder control causes embarrassment. Also when hungry if I am actually able to provoke character into cooking, will most frequently stop cooking and grab a quick meal instead of preparing meal.

I'm on Xbox series S usually super happy with speed and loading times. I've only got the Sims on it with most of the packs.
Now I've got the lagging back again. Knitting freezes the whole household for 30 sim mins. They stand nodding heads doing nothing else till knitting starts, which is annoying as it's her job. Cooking causes a lag and food goes in the oven then the chopping board reappears in her hand and the game freezes. Yesterday it was lagging badly during a baking session then froze while moving a pie to the fridge but the game wouldn't restart and the pie was stuck on the cursor! I couldn't use the menu because of it, had to hard restart.
Today I'm going to clear out some NPCs and I also wonder if the fact it's heavily reliant on very full inventories has anything to do with the lagging? Cottage living uses them more than ever especially with the simple living challenge. Plus all the additional things like livestock treats and produce, wild animal and crop care and gifting. She's growing her own flowers for flower arranging too. I've also got the rabbits and birds doing the gardening. It's happened in Henford and with this household in Bramblewood.
I'm trying the town centre for my next household and they will not be keeping livestock so I'll see if there's a difference. I'll try it without simple living too.
