    Hey all,

    This issue was resolved in Patch 1.70.

    Please be sure to fully close and update your game- if you're still having crashing issues once your game is fully updated, please create a new thread here so we can investigate further.

Hello, 

I was able to edit the post to replace the base game version # so that has been corrected. I just tried to upload the video I took but this says that it is an extension that is unsupported by this website. Is there another way I can get the video to someone to analyze it?

@gators82577  You can upload it to a google drive or youtube and supply the link if you can't get the video to embed using the post tools.

I've embedded video that I saved from my Playstation into a post before using the insert a video in the post tools but I am not certain the format XBox uses for its video clips.

Or did you just record it on your phone? You may need to download it to your PC and use a program to save it in another video format.

    I am not sure if I am able to record it straight from the xbox since I don't think I can set things to record after the game has fully exited and been brought back to the home screen.  I can try it again later today and see if that is possible.  In the meantime, I was able to upload the video I took on my phone to google drive, and I have the shareable link posted here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1RZml_IVBgGmAV9qkiMfsVAwBk0eKNcCa  

    I will attempt to take more videos of this later and upload them since I really want to get back into playing this game.  If there are certain circumstances that I should test out and record to see their results then let me know.  Thank you for your help thus far, I hope some sort of right direction can be found here.

    I’m not really sure how this things works, so I will ask you since you seem to be the only one responding. Is someone from EA going to look into this and work on a solution?  It seems really disheartening that no one from EA is responding to this and it has been two months on this post and TWO YEARS on the previous thread that this was discussed on.  The problem was so prevalent that I just uninstalled university and play the game with less crashes (though they do happen still).  I should try to get my money back but if EA doesn’t care enough to even send one person to respond to this then why would they care about offering a refund on a clearly broken product.

      Hi @gators82577,

      There are EA staff on the forums like myself but we aren't able to respond to every post to confirm we've seen it and are looking into things. That doesn't mean we're not though. 🙂

      Can you share where and what you're doing in-game when the game crashes for you so we can try to reproduce it. And does it always crash at the same point?

      Edit to add: does this also happen when you take your pet to visit the vets?

        What additional information do you need?  I provided a video showing it happen, an entire thread of people explaining that the same thing happened to them (a thread you closed as solved for some strange reason), and a description of the scenario as the original post to this thread.  Please give me something specific that the team would need to know and I will do my best to provide it. 

        Edit: to answer your edit question: sometimes it does but that isn’t the only thing that causes the crash, seemingly it is whenever you’re trying to leave the home lot to travel somewhere else.

      Ever since the update with knifty Knitting I can not play without crashing or have other issues. It will completely exit out of the game and if I open it I have to start over. I've uninstalled everything and reinstalled it, that didn't work. My character does not follow the commands well. The fast forward freezes a lot. I've had a glitch where they won't go to work no matter what I do or if I tell them to do something the command completely disappears. I have everything except for eco-living. I've tried rebooting the system and clearing the cache. This is been a problem for a very long time but it got so much worse after this update.
