Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? GP06: 1.assets.live-gp06.97
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except for Spooky stuff, Moschino, Tiny Living, Bowling, Patio, Fitness.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don’t know, it just crashes 8/10 times when I want to do something.
What happens when the bug occurs? During travel loading screens, saving, entering or exiting build mode, and sometimes just clicking on something or moving around, the game will crash to a black screen for a second, then goes back to the XBox home screen. This has been happening for a while but is getting more frequent. It happens almost every time I try to travel anywhere.
What do you expect to see? The game should not crash. I should be able to send my sim to other lots and build houses without an issue.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
This has been happening increasingly after accessing the gallery for the first time a few weeks ago. It rarely crashed before. I have downloaded houses for almost every slot in every world. I kept some from the game and kept my own. The more houses I have in game, the more it crashes, but I don’t see why I should remove houses. Having full worlds should not be an issue, otherwise why put so many blank lots in the first place?
My game is crashing every few minutes because I want my sim to visit every part of every world. I should be able to do this without having to reload again and again. I make sure to save every few minutes, especially before leaving a location.
As well as crashing, the game freezes for a few seconds every few minutes. This has been happening since before I first accessed the gallery. This doesn’t seem to cause crashes, but it is irritating.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have tried toggling Share Usage Data to off. I have tried a complete factory restore of my XBox. Nothing has worked long term.

I just loaded my game for the first time today, went to build mode to get a vet station because I knew if I took my dog to the vet it would crash. I thought I’d save it in build mode just in case, and you guessed it, it crashed while saving... I’m at a loss!
I can’t say I’ve had the other problems you mentioned, though.

Ok so I just tried something. I just went to manage worlds and shuffled around all of my neighbourhood sims so that every single house is now unfurnished in each world. I also bulldozed a few of the disgustingly extravagant mansions I had in Del Sol Valley.
I have just managed to go into my family, move them out and move them into an unfurnished house in Willow Creek. I have furnished their house with much fewer objects than before, plus the house is smaller. I saved every few minutes while doing this. So far so good.
I have also just managed to get my sim to take her dog to the vet in Brindleton Bay and back home again, all without crashing. I made sure to save after arriving, after treatment, and after arriving home.
I have yet to try sending my sim to a community lot from the gallery. I don’t plan to bulldoze or edit those in any way as I don’t think I should have to. We will see!
I had heard that the problem could be caused by having too many objects on lots, which is why I blitzed the entirety of my houses in game. I still think the game should be able to cope with fully furnished houses on all lots, but I guess if this works, I’ll go with it for now.
I will update if I run into any further problems.

And it crashed again after editing a family in CAS. Yay. I did get about 3 crash free hours though, rather than having it happen every 5 minutes.
