I have had all the expansion packs since they came out and always update my ps4 and the sims regularly. I haven't yet downloaded snowy escape most particularly due to finances- role on payday 😅.
On the odd occasion my game would normally crash (since the update before the November one) though nothing in particular would cause it though a few times it was caused by:
- changing in and out of build mode
- changing lots
- sims mastering skills
- having babies
- bringing dead sims back to life with ambrosia (the same sim has died a few times over different saves. - the first time was mermaid drowning though apparently it's meant to play music when it does that which it didn't and oddly enough the issues been since she died in Sulani.)
Since the November update, I loaded the game up, created a new game (wanted to mess around with the new features first so I didnt destroy my current on going game - somewhat normal thing for me to do with new packs and updates). Literally put a sim in the household and it crashed! Then reloaded the same and got out of create a sim and brought a plot of land. Went to build mode and again within 5 minutes whilst I was trying to figure out platforms (unsuccessful unfortunately, really have no idea what I'm doing..) it crashed. Tried it a third time and once again it crashed whilst I was reattempting to figure out platforms.. Either I'm horrific or platforms are horrific. Not sure which 😂🤦🏼♀️
I then gave up playing last night after that had all happened as my 4 month old had started crying and I was too tired to sort it all out whilst she was crying because she wanted to be bounced 😂🤦🏼♀️ Parenthood...
Unfortunately I don't have any pictures or videos of it all happening either, though I was rather disappointed by all of a potential 15 minute play during that time (it's very slow at loading) to have literally gotten nowhere.
Think I'm just going to load up my normal game and go from there on attempting to figure it out and just ignore the platform feature for now as that seemed to have been my most common cause last night.
