@chauncy913 Are you getting any error codes or just the save not appearing? Have you switched from say a disc version of the game to a digital version?
No error codes now, but the last time I was able to play the save I was getting error code 0 when I tried to save. I saved the game in a new slot and deleted the old one since it kept not letting me save. I come back to play a few days later and the game won't show the load option only lets me start a new game. And I play digital, no discs.

@chauncy913 Can you make sure your game is up to date? If you reinstalled it may be a good idea to check. Is there any autosave to try to load or is that also gone?
Edit:
Make sure your game is up to date.
- Go to the PlayStation home screen.
- Highlight the game you're playing and press the Options button on your controller.
- Select "Check For Update" and install any updates that are available.
- Restart the Console completely.
Make sure your Console system software is up to date.
- Select Settings at the top of the PlayStation home screen.
- Choose "System Software Update" and allow any system updates to install.
- Reboot your PlayStation 4.
The error code 0 I have seen before, deleting your Autosave and letting the game generate a new one can fix that.

Everything is up to date and no autosave.

@chauncy913 Can you try loading the game as a new save. Create a random sim and place them down. You can save this as a new save (don't overwrite anything) Then close the game.
Restart the game and see if your other save appears.
