Game not working after eco lifestyle installation

After downloading and installing the Eco Lifestyle expansion pack for PS4 the game no longer loads. 

The initial welcome screen usually seen after a new expansion is installed never popped up on the home screen but the new world still shows up on the worlds screen. When trying to load a new household from the new world a prompt comes up telling me I don't have the content intstalled for this pack so some items have been removed (this is obviously not correct), and when I try to open my save and load a household to play the game crashes with the error code CE-34878-0 every time. 

I've deleted and reinstalled the game and add ons twice (which took a whole day) and still the same issue.

I had the same issue with the Tiny Living stuff pack but after deleting and reinstalling the game the issue was fixed, but it isn't working this time, and the game played fine with the new bug fixes and update. 

It looks like I'm not the only one having this issue, hopefully something can be done about this because we spend a lot of money on this game!
