Game progress won't save sims 4 Xbox one

Hello, I just downloaded the sims 4 onto my Xbox one (which is basically brand new). I bought the expansion pack pets. Everytime I save, even if I save frequently during gameplay (it's also on auto save), I sign back in later to have lost all my progress of multiple hours of gameplay. I am very frustrated can anyone help ?

    @Alicia445462 Are you signed in to the correct account that the saves are tied to?

    Are you offline and unable to access the clouds for saves?

    Are you receiving an error code?

    1. I am not sure if I am signed into the correct account. I only have the one account. Receiving no error code, it acts perfectly normal. I am online for sure. Could it have to be with using cheat codes?
