I can’t sell my restaurant

I have the sims4 on Xbox one and every time I try to sell my restaurant it sends me back to the screen where you select which household to play as and then says i still own the restaurant. I thought this would be fixed but it’s been months so I’m asking if anyone knows a way to fix this.

edit: I finally got the restaurant to sell, I think there many be something wrong with the restaurant menu that wouldn’t allow me to sell it through there
