I installed Toddler Stuff on my Xbox one.

I installed Toddler stuff for the Sims 4 on my Xbox 1 and it said that I needed to download it to use it, like it didn’t say that I didn’t own it, it just said that I need to download it to use it.

What Should I Do?

    If you're still having difficulty accessing your Packs, let's try some troubleshooting.

    After installing a pack, the troubleshooting steps are:

    • PS4-only: Confirm that the console shows the pack as INSTALLED and not “READY TO INSTALL” under Manage Game & add-ons
    • If the pack isn’t there, download it and restart The Sims 4
    • If the pack is installed
      • Quit The Sims 4 and restart the game
    • If it still doesn’t show up
      • Press and hold the power button on the front of the Xbox One until it turns off
      • Wait 30 seconds and turn on the console again (cold boot)
      • Launch The Sims 4
    • If it STILL doesn’t show up
      • Press and hold the power button on the front of the Xbox One until it turns off
      • Unplug the Xbox One from power
      • Wait 30 seconds, plug it back in and turn on the console again
      • Launch The Sims 4

  • Hi there!

    I had a similar experience when I installed Parenthood.

    To fix it i did the following:

    - Check your 'downloads' (I play on PS4 so I'm not sure where you can find this on Xbox One, but I assume you have one.) 

    - There should be recently downloaded stuff and your Toddler Stuff reading as something like 'Ready to download'.

    - Then you should be able to click on it and download it.

    Alternatively:

    - Go to the store (Again, as I play on PS4 I'm not sure where you can find this. But, you may be able to click on the 'Download this pack to use it' sign and it may take you there.)

    - Try to find your recent purchases or past purchases.

    - Once you've found the toddler stuff, there should be an option to download it. (On PS4 this is a download sign next to the name)

    Once you've downloaded it, you should be able to see it in your game. This worked for me, I hope it will work for you too. (Also, please be aware you way have to wait a while for it to download before you can play with it, and after that you will have to restart Sims if you left it open for it to be seen in your game.)
