Keyboard and Mouse not working Ps4

I went and got a wireless keyboard and mouse and plugged them into the PS4. PS4 recognized that there was a keyboard and mouse plugged in. Opened sims and hit x on the title menu. Then I read keyboard and mouse should work but mine were unresponsive. I have a Logitech keyboard and an onn wireless mouse.
