Lagging

I have been having the same problem with the framerate dropping drastically and the cursor barely moving, jumping around when it did decide to move. I am playing on ps4 pro, if info is needed and doing this, clearing my cache by following these these steps, worked for me. The game has been running smoother and without lag/framerate problems so far!

Ever since downloading it my system crashes all the time. I’ve had to reinstall the OS twice, thankfully I haven’t lost all my data. I’m taking a precaution before I play again and backing up all my stuff. 

Freezes on small lots on big lots and sometimes when opening the gallery. 

I wish EA would grant me access on PC because I have bought almost all but three packs and It sucks the game is crashing and corrupting my PS4..

And to this day, there has been a load of updates also more expansion packs however it’s still laggy, and sometimes could often find yourself in an ultra slow gameplay, very frustrating right? Especially knowing that  you don’t even need to be connected to an internet and it’s like this!

Sims is one of the slowest and most frustrating game I’ve ever played on a console, using no internet. 
aswell as that, it is a fun game however, the speed of the game is ridiculous also, it tends to freeze regularly leaving you no choice but to suspend the application and start again, losing all your data in the progress.

i can’t believe that sims is updated and connected to the online, but hasn’t been looked at with the technical issues that has occurred from 2017, 

it’s quite worrying that somewill spend about £20-£40 on this game to get home and be annoyed after they spent a lot of time on the game, also money for the expansion packs, which isn’t cheap, but the game is corrupted 

This was in 2017 and it's 2020 now and lagging on consoles are still and issue. I'm on Xbox One and for the pass few months I haven't been able to enjoy my sims 4. I've been a fan and been playing sims since sims 1. Can an update please help fix the console issue please it's  long overdue. I have a little over 30 packs on my console and that just wasted money sitting there because everytime I start my game up now it shuts of when my family is eating a grand dinner. I've been stuck on the sims winterfest day because the game wont stay up long enough for me to let the day pass. HELP PLEASE.

Yes, mine too. It lags severely in the fastest 3rd mode speed. I never use it unless they’re sleeping or at work now. I miss the old version where it stopped when action was finished. It’s slower than the 2nd speed sometimes. They just stand there not moving and looking around for 12 hours. It’s bad.

I've experienced this in build mode, only way I've fixed it is to close the game completely. 

Oh, look. It's Oct. 2020 and it's still an issue. I can hardly play it at all. Everything lags. Cursor hardly moves at all.
