Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open sims 4 on console and plug in keyboard and mouse
What happens when the bug occurs? I can use my keyboard like i always do, but i can’t click on anything with my mouse. I can only scroll
What do you expect to see? My mouse being able to work freely
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.

I’ve never really ever had a problem with the sims so this is kind of annoying. I’m mostly busy all of the time so I don’t have that much time for the sims. I decided to play at least once a week for the new “Reaper Rewards” event. I was playing smoothly and didn’t have any problems until I think the 2nd or 3rd week. I thought it was my mouse so I tried another, but it did the same thing. So I restarted my xbox and it started to work. But i had to do this every time and eventually it stopped working. It even stopped working mid gameplay. Of course, like a normal person, i got sick and tired and stopped playing. I came back recently to play again before the event is over but it still happens. I can still move the cursor and scroll, but everything else doesn’t work. I’ve seen similar complaints but none of the solutions worked for me. I’ve even deleted the game, got it updated and unplugged my xbox multiple times, but it still doesn’t work. I hate to play with console because of how overly complicated it is so i really want this to be fixed asap please. 🙏
