My DLC packs just disappeared but I still have them

Hey all! I don't see much recent posts about this topic, majority are from a couple of years ago and have not worked for me. Ive had my Sims for over a couple of years, and have brought Cottage Living, Snowy Escape, Magic Realm, Laundry Day, Vintage Glamour and seasons. Snowy Escape and Seasons being only purchased this week (as they were half price lol). I was playing fine, and all of a sudden my Sims game started to lag super hard which is not normal, it lags for a few seconds as you would expect so I reset my console and went to jump back on my Sims. At first it loaded in fine, but then it came up with a notification saying "DATA FILES MISSING" Which is odd, so I then proceeded to click next and now my Sims are bald and naked. My world that I was in (Cottage Living) had horrible graphics and looked like it was made in the 2000s haha. I got confused and realized that all my packs say "DOWNLOAD TO USE" and everytime I go to click it, it takes me to Microsoft store and only gives me the "BUY AS A GIFT" Option. Now, I've tried turning my Xbox off for 2 minutes, uninstalling the add-ons, resetting my Xbox and then installing my add-ons back on the Xbox, then resetting my Xbox and it still didn't work. I also then set my Xbox as my home account, still didn't work. I then bought EA Play, and thought it would work after that but still my Sims are as naked as a molerat, and I want to cry so bad but I ain't no wuss so I'm soldering on and hoping to find answers for my long lost sims packs that EA robbed me of (it's probably my fault ngl). 

To add on some info so that it could possibly lead to an answer: 

-I did not have EA Play when I purchased these packs

-Cottage Living was brought on my Boyfriend's Xbox account for me when he had sims downloaded (through game pass) and magically appeared on my Xbox and on my accounts sims so I wouldn't be as surprised if it was only this pack that had gone missing but the rest I don't 

-I never purchased a pack with EA Play, and never clicked the option (owned) and only brought the option beside it 

-My Xbox is old and sounds like death sometimes but she's a champ and still goes hard

-I cannot connect my mobile phone to my Xbox through the Xbox app as I don't have a wireless controller (got enough for sim packs but not a controller. Priorities much) and it was the only thing that had the option "download on console" (the actual base game)

-Last night after I brought EA Play and now officially own my sims 4 game as it gave me the option to download it for free through EA play and it still does not work. 

I am lost at this point and was wondering if it was because I downloaded Snowy Escapes, as I found out it had been having problems for over a couple of years now and its riddling with bugs. I have left that uninstalled, but everything else should still download right? I've paid a lot of money, these mfs aren't cheap so am wondering if someone has any answers or if I should contact for a refund.
