photography skill

I play on the Xbox One. Whenever I pulled out my camera to level up my photography skill, it only let me take one picture. It won’t let me take any more, even though it says Photos Remaining:4. I cant pull up the menu. I also don’t want to turn off my Xbox because I haven’t saved in a while. I will lose my progress that I’ve made. Neither can I see the controls for the camera.
