Playable sims and NPC cleaner taking hours to vacuum

So I recently bought and installed the Bust and Dust kit. Now my cleaner is at my sims house vacuuming for 6 hours a day, on top of the 3 hours doing regular chores.  My sim will vacuum to perfection before leaving for work, which is sparkling, so this seems like an odd mechanic.it also costs me x2 simolens to have the cleaner as she is there so long. 

I have also noticed that Dust builds up far too quickly. My sim will spend a good 2 hours vacuuming to perfection in the morning for it to have Dust piling up unto bunnies by midnight the same day. And that I with my sim vacuuming in the morning and then the maid going at it for a further 6 hours

I play on the PS4 Pro 

I have no mods. Never used a cheat code and these packs installed.
