PS4 Edition CAS Glitch

While playing on my ps5, I was in CAS choosing an outfit for my sim and I was stuck in the spot when you just click a sims' body. I was only able to use the d pad and joystick, none of the other buttons worked. I tried pressing R1 to switch sims and circle to exit and nothing happened. I was forced to close and reopen my game loosing all my editing in CAS. This happened twice on different profiles on the same console and day. I had also switched control and tried to press x to remove the "your controller has been disconnected" and no effect. Both controllers were drifting but I don't feel that would do anything. Is anyone else having this issue?

Please try the following steps, let me know if the issue continues once you've tried these:

Turn off Your system completely, let it sit for a few minutes and power it back on.

Check that your game is fully updated:

    • Go to the PlayStation home screen.
    • Highlight the game you're playing and press the Options button on your controller.
    • Select "Check For Update" and install any updates that are available.
    • Restart the Console completely.

Make sure your console system software is up to date

    • Select Settings at the top of the PlayStation home screen.
    • Choose "System Software Update" and allow any system updates to install.
    • Reboot your PlayStation.

    Uninstall and Reinstall the game:

    • Go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Delete.
    • Select a game or application.
    • Set check marks beside the data you wish to delete or Select All.
    • Select Delete > then OK to confirm your decision.
