I tried to follow your path, but my TV is older than 20 years and i am not able to find this HDMI/CEC ... (although my TV has HDMI)
Shame on me - i don't even know which kind of xbox -one i own ...
So - WHY was i able to play sims 4 in the ' first years ' and SUDDENLY i get permanently automatic graphic adjustments ?! ( i didn 't change a thing ! - !! there were only new dlc's & updates ... ?! )
And - yes , i would not have a problem with it, IF it would happen just one time ! As i already wrote : I am playing and it happens again & again ... till the texture is "blurred to death" !
friendly greetings
xxKlotopiaxx sorry, the setting is on the Xbox not your TV. It stops the Xbox controlling your TV display. So on your Xbox go to Settings on the homescreen/dashboard. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide then go to Settings to see if you have it on your Xbox. This option has been in the Settings on my last few models of Xbox. I'm attaching the guide from Xbox Support for you below. It may or may not work but it did work for me. I wonder if the age of the TV that you mentioned might also be causing an issue but I couldn't say for sure.
We also reported the graphics blurring after the graphics adjustment on our old reporting system on Answers HQ before transferring to this newer forum, so they have been made aware of it.

Friendly greetings !
Just to complete this topic : I researched that my TV is to old : it does not have options for CEC. Thats why the xbox-console does not show/give me a posibility/option for CEC-adjustment.
