Question: PS4 Quest Items to PC

My computer is currently out of commission and I’m not sure if I can get it fixed before the event.  Does anyone know if I did the event through PS4 and got all of the items if it would transfer onto my PC when I get it back working as long as I am logged in with my EA account?  I know packs and stuff don’t transfer, but because it’s base game I’m wondering if anyone knows!

  • Hello!  I very much do not mean any disrespect to EA_cuervo.  However, while purchased content is not available across platforms, this doesn't seem to be the case for event rewards which are tied to our accounts now.  So, as long as you have linked your EA account to your PS4, you should be able to complete the quests on PS4 and unlock the items for both platforms.

I've completed all previous events on PC and the reward items are available in my PS5 game.  For the current Blast From the Past event, I completed the first set of tasks for this week on PC and the second set of tasks on PS5.  All the claimed rewards appear on both platforms for me.  Keep in mind that if there are any personal inventory items gained during the quests, those will not appear in any other household or save.  So far, I haven't seen any inventory items in this event but it's only week 1 so, I thought I'd mention it just in case.

EDIT: Apologies!  There were a couple of inventory items.  However I don't want to spoil it for others.  I'll just reiterate that inventory items will only be available to the sim who collected them.  If you want to add these items to a different household / save, they will be available in Build Buy mode.

    Hey there,

The game does not support cross-progression. You can find further information on this thread.

    I hope this helps,

EDIT: adding further information shared by @JonaO703.

  • I will add that I see the same as JonaO703 - I completed the reaper and holiday rewards on my Mac, and they showed up on my PS4 (same EA account on both). The current event's rewards weren't there at first, but after a Playstation update and game restart all my event progress synced from Mac to PS4.

I can't test PS4 to PC at the moment, as I'd already completed this week's tasks.
