Residential Rent lot won't load to play

I play on Xbox, no CC or Mods. Made a residential rent lot and cannot play it at all after saving and exiting game. Game loads fine, other houses (not rentals) play fine. Trying to load into the rental lot will give me a big "X" and options to change floors, it doesn't nothing and so I back out (attached below). Playing difference houses wont let me visit and gives the same "X" box. All I want to do is bull doze it bc I could only make 2 apartments. Please help!

  • Took me a bit, but I got it!! I'm going to list all the steps I took for anyone else who have this issue.

    1. When in the world's menu go to "manage household" and move out household into a different lot

    2. I think you can just evict any current tenants, but I just deleted them from world, either way you need to have no sims living on the lot

    3. Sell the apartment from the household owned business tab

    4. Go to manage worlds, open the gallery and look for "residential rental" or something along those lines, and place it on the broken lot. You should now be able to access the lot and do whatever you want with it!

    I'm not sure what made this bug happen, it could of been that I lived on the lot first before making in a "rental", (I heard that it's an issue). I did it correctly this time and it works now!

    Hey there @Toads_R_nice

    Can you attach a screenshot to your post of what exactly you're seeing when you try to load into this lot please?

  • No icons show up in the bottom right corner or anywhere on the screen when selecting the lot, the screenshot I set is all that shows up on my screen when selecting the rental.

    I also found this weird bug that when I click on the rental lot after being in a different place, it loads my last place into the rental lot picture (hope that makes sense), nothing is clickable still except the arrows on the side still, and backing out of the lot. Below is still the rental lot, but it's showing a park I was last at instead of the "X".

  • Just this one. I just played a rental lot in Tomarang as the owner and it worked fine, and I've played as a tenant and it worked as well. It's just this one lot I made and own with my sims that's messed up 🫤

    @Toads_R_nice

    Thanks for these details! From Manage Worlds view, try opening the Gallery and replacing this lot with a new rental unit instead- let me know if this works for you or if you run into any issues.
