Sims 4 Cannot Save: Error code 504 9cd940e:45423fc5

I randomly got this error code when I tried saving my game. I tried multiple times but it just failed on each attempt. I play on PS4, so obviously no mods or anything. I can’t seem to find anyone else who got this error code before either.

    Hey there!

    Do you use any external hard drive for your PS4 or have anything plugged into it's USB slots?

    Have you power cycled your console since then? Hopefully this was a one off error, unless you get it often. A power cycle helps clear the cache for your console which can help prevent in game errors.

    How to power cycle your PlayStation console

    1. Touch the power button on the front of the PS4 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).
    2. Turn it back on after 1 minute. Launch the game.
