Sims 4 Lag on PS4

Hi,

Ive had the Sims 4 for ps4 for quite some and i love playing, there are some times when the game does lag or you tell a Sim to do something and they stand still for a good few mins until they do it.

There is quite a lot of lag when playing ive just tried to ignore it becuase i like the playing the game.

Can anything be fixed or help me out to stop this lagging so i can enjoy playing it☹️

Same is happening with me!! In every household is lagging terrible, on build  mode when I place a wall or fence it takes forever to appear and on CAS is terrible too, every thing I click on is lagging. Is very stressful to play a game like this! Every other game on my ps4 works perfectly with no lags!

  • @LukeyD28 This is happening to me too. Also the x2 speed is Slower than normal and ultra speed sometimes doesn’t work. I’m experiencing a lot of lag and freezing! I’ve tried to find a solution but nothing has worked for me.😕

Literally same. Really sucks the fun out of playing when there's the constant 'sim doing absolutely nothing despite telling them to do it' and lagging and the loading screens that take forever

Hi, I used to be at my wits end with lag on ps4, but lots of things can help make it better. My top advice is to give it time and let it load, I like to load my save not resume then hover over all the occupied lots in the world screen till the families pics load in then load my household and go and make a cup of tea while my sims do their own thing for a bit. I find if you give them things to do straight after loading they get stuck for a bit.

Going into Manage households and deleting a lot of currently not in world other household families really helps too, so does getting rid of everything in household fridges, inventory etc before moving on and starting a new save.

Or you can be really brave and delete any saves you haven't played in ages. I had a full ten saves originally and now I have three and that has greatly improved my lagging.

Hope some of this helps you too.
