Sims 4 PS4 Won’t allow me to create character

EA Staff (Retired)We've been having trouble reproducing, is anyone still having this issue? If so, does this happen the first time you try to enter CAS, like on a new game, or it it when editing an existing Sim in Manage/Edit Household? Thanks much for the help!
I start the game and go to create a sim. Everything seems to work fine for about 15-30 minutes and then the HUD disappears and I cannot back out adjust anything. I then have to force close the game and restart. I don’t know what the game is even like because I cannot even get past the character creation for myself or wife.

I do.. it will let me create random parts of the sim then be stuck with the name section invisible but only showing the hover help hint windows over the first and last name section even though i created a name already?
I'm having this issue as well. This game has been out for 6 years and this is still a bug? Ridiculous.
