Sims 4 won't save on Xbox and PlayStation

So I preorder sims 4 for Xbox one. I have EA access so I started playing early access, but I can't save my game

    Hi EA. I am experiencing the same problem. I prordered the game on xbox one and was playing with my 3 days early pass and my game was saving no problem but right on the sims 4 release date (november 16th) my game no longer saves. I hit save game and nothing happens. The screen freezes and the only way to unfreeze is by clicking the left stick to see the controls and that allows you to exit the pause menu. "Save and exit to main menu" does not save the game either. The only thing to do is continue playing or exit the game without saving. There seems to be alot of bugs and glitches in this game. I have run into at least 10 bugs or so that are ruining the experience of the game and i hope they get fixed soon. To answer your questions in other posts: i have over 200 GB left on my hard drive so i should have plenty of memory to save my game. I have all expansions and game packs. I am only playing with 1 created sim and i am playing on culpepper apartments in muyshino city life or whatever it is called. But i have run into plenty of bugs.

    I got the same problem here. The only difference is that I found a way to save. I would go to "Manage World's" every so often, save then go back to the household. But I am also forgetful so I had a couple of hours loss too. What happens is that you click Save but it wouldn't show the saving progress stuff. Just stays at the menu, and you click the pause button or A or X again and it won't do anything. It would also happen to me through the save and go to manage worlds too. So saving seems to be having problems.

    I came to say I’m having this same exact issue with not being able to save my progress in this game. I was hoping to find a solution to the problem but no luck so far. The advice given is the equivalent of turning off the system and turning back on😂 My Xbox one is brand new, I have plenty of memory space and this is the only game I can’t save. I paid $60 for this pre-order against my better judgement. The issue is not our systems it’s the f-ing game, and this needs to be fixed immediately!

    Honestly pointless in paying for the 3 day early I've basically spent money on a broken product which is still unplayable did people not test this the best part is how all there over expensive DLC seems to be working at launch but a save function somthing that is key to all most any game is broken seriously I think we need compensation for beta testing there game

    The workaround is still working for me. It's a little inconvenient but the game isn't unplayable. I came across a few other bugs but they went away after rebooting the game

    How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? The ones that came with the game.
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a new game.
    What happens when the bug occurs? The save function does nothing.
    What do you expect to see? A menu asking me to name my save file.
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Sims 4 PS4 + Deluxe Party edition content + Perfect Patio Stuff
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? In the pause menu press save and go to manage worlds. The save game list comes up and when you go to save it doesn't save. This also happens with the in-game button in the top right-hand corner. I also think (but not 100% sure) that the game also glitches out similarly but after going to manage worlds and then when trying to save it doesn't. The only way to reset this is by closing the application.
    What happens when the bug occurs? Once the bug occurs, the game will not save even when pressing on a save file, and when trying to exit the pause menu, the menu won't disappear unless you press L3 (the controls button) in which it disappears but doesn't save the progress.
    What do you expect to see? When pressing the options button or circle on the PS4 controller, the pause menu only resets itself, as if it's popping up for the first time.
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    I have updated the game to 1.01 and I have the pre-order disc copy.

    I’d cut your losses now instead of waiting. I’d hate to see you lose more progress than you already will. Even when EA fixes this glitch you’ll probably have to quit the game before you game save again.

    Well, I’ve got the actual game now instead of the trial (though I know they’re the same thing) and the save issue still arises at times. Disappointing. Guess I’ll just have to save every 10 mins or reset until this is resolved.

    I did not get the trail I got the full thing straight away just would of thought the game saving would of been one thing they would of checked first before realise
