SIMS PS4 NET ISSUE

I bought Sims 4 for the PS4, and downloaded it and have been playing for weeks. Recently my internet went out and now my game won't load. They say I don't need internet to play this game but it isn't loading since my internet was turned off. It loads a quarter way and then the green diamond just sits there with the music playing indefinitely. Is there a way to still play while my internet is off?

Ok if anyone else has this problem ever, I figured it out. Just go to settings and make the the box that says connect to internet is turned off, after that the game will load!

@Vamp_Kiti I moved your thread to the Sims 4 consoles section, where other players are more likely to see it. Thanks for sharing the solution; I'm sure people will be glad to read it if they find themselves in the same situation.
