Since the new update, the game has been stuck on the sims 4 logo screen for ages. I have tried multiple things such as: resetting my ps5, uninstalling and reinstalling the sims game, reset my ps5 to factory reset. My game was completely fine before the update. I tried to see if the sims was working on my brother’s PS4 and it had the same issue.

Do you see a specific error code when this happens? On the main menu of your PS5 you can head to Settings > System > System Software > Error History and let me know what you're seeing there.

I manage to figure a solution but not ideal. The sims 4 can load with my mobile network and then I change to connect to my WiFi. This seems to work however I didn’t have this issue before the update. My other games seem to work fine with my WiFi. I have erased my WiFi and join again but this did not work.
Due to resetting my PS5, the previous error history has gone. From what I can remember, it said there was error with system software. This prompted to update my PS5 and update my games as the same time. There wasn’t anything major that stood out, besides prompting a software update and syncing data.
