The game failed to save. Error code 12

I have had this issue a few times recently where the game will randomly refuse to save. Trying to save just gives an error code that I cannot find any information on. 

It appears to be something to do with lots as when I travel my lot is reset back to the state it was when I first loaded the save. It is also preventing me from saving anything to the gallery/library 

I have no idea what is causing this to happen but it is happening frequently and I am often losing hours of progress as auto saves are affected also. Any help would be appreciated.

I am on Xbox so no mods or cc issues.
