The Sims 4 - Cannot Connect To Gallery

I’ve just experienced an issue with The Sims 4 gallery on the PS4 Pro. My Internet Connection is fantastic as always, I do have the “Online Features Access” turned on from the Options menu and I can’t connect to my gallery.

It was working fine last night (16th March 2020) but it doesn’t let me connect right now (17th March 2020). There’s no server update information on the EA website so now I’m confused with what’s happening. What happened?!

• EA ID: WarrenKWoodhouse

• Device Used: PlayStation 4 Pro (PAL Format)

• Game: The Sims 4

• PSN: warren-woodhouse

• Issue: Attempting To Connect To My Gallery Account (Failed for some unknown reason)

• Date & Time: 10:38am GMT+00 on the 17th March 2020.

    I found out why it’s happening on the console edition. If you save the game and then enter Rest Mode on the PS4, next time it starts up it jumps back to where you was in the game at the time you entered Rest Mode. This obviously has caused a technical issue where it logged me out of the gallery for some bizarre unknown reason. Closing the game application and starting the game so that the start menu appears seems to solve this issue. Needs a deeper look as to why this happens from Rest Mode.

    Option Settings are fine as always.

    Hi, when you go into game options/ other, do you see an option to link your EA account? If so click on it and then restart. I’ve been having to do this for a few weeks now to get gallery to come back. This is an issue for quite a few people but so far no word on when or if it will be fixed
