Unable to leave Build Mode

Console (PS4) 

If I'm accessing Build Mode from the main menu, it can be avoided by pressing the small eye 'View Lot' option. When I do this, the other apartment on the Lot is revealed and because all the furniture ‘Suggestions’ are met (because it's not an empty lot) it allows me to exit Build Mode and return to the World selection menu. 

However, if I access Build Mode for the household via gameplay, it will take me to Build Mode and allow me to operate everything as it usually would, but won't allow me to exit Build Mode because it tells me that the other apartment needs all of it's lot ‘Suggestions’ fulfilled first before I can exit back to gameplay. Because I can’t press the ‘View Lot’ option from this side of the game, I’m locked in Build Mode with no other way out but to force exit the application. In this predicament, I am unable to ‘Save’, go to ‘Manage Worlds’ or ‘Exit Menu’ as an icon or hover over pop-up will inform me that I am unable to utilise this option because of another apartment’s ‘condition’.

I'm not sure why the condition of another apartment should matter on whether I can exit Build Mode for another household. Especially concerning I wouldn't be able to edit or access the other apartment from Build Mode via Gameplay in the first place. It's a For Rent feature within the Lovestruck world (Ciudad Enamorada), This has never been a problem for me until now.
