Just re installed the game and without the patch i can switch window placement modes but with the patch I can't. Defiantly a bug that needs to be fixed.

- Hopefully they fix it soon as it's a little annoying.
- The toggle full room and I tile option doesn’t apply to windows for me. Only paint and flooring, but windows by room aren’t an option. I know it’s possible, I’ve played on pc and achieved it, but it’s not working here.
So since im not a full member and cant ask the forums...can anyone tell me how on sims 4 on xbox one u disable the auto window feature? I for the life of me cannot get my cursor to allow me to select anything outside of color and window height...i know its probobly something simple but i cant figure it out lol please help

All of you seem to be experiencing the same problem to toggle between single and full room windows. This is something I have forwarded to the team so they can investigate it, so thank you for your reports! In the meantime, I've merged your posts in here so the information is in the same place.

- latest patch applied and I still can't switch between placement tools, I know its possible as a fresh install without any patches I am able to switch placement modes.

-Mai - ...y’all have dropped quite a few patches and haven’t fixed this yet.
- The issue has been corrected as of patch 1.05 for PS4 unsure about Xbox As I don't own one.

If you have any issues with Sims 4 please make a new topic about the issues you are having and what kind of steps you have tried to solve it.
/AticI know this was years ago but if anyone still is confused I just figured out mine by doing exactly what it is told above but make sure when you press Windows that you change it from “By Room” to “By Window” when choosing the type of window u want. Then it’ll let you use the cheat properly. I had it by room which conflicted the free object movement.
