(xbox) cannot install Cats and Dogs on xbox one

so uh, ive owned the sims 4 for around 5 years or something? and only recently ive had issues with one specific game pack : cats and dogs. i have it on disc as part of a bundle but recently its sayin...

    Gotchya, thanks! With the disk inserted, let's try the following:

    • Highlight The Sims on the dashboard
    • Press the Menu button on the controller
    • Select "Manage Games and Add-ons" 
    • You should see an option here to "Install" your DLC

hi yes this ended up fixing it!! it also turned out my disk wasnt actually functioning because i just found out the hard way that an xbox disk drive does not work if you stick a hdd ontop of it, thank you!!
